Order Lead Times
Do me a Favour is a small business. To keep overheads and expenses to a minimum, and therefore be as competitive as possible with our prices, we maintain a low level of stock. Also a large portion of our suppliers are dispersed around the globe and for these reasons a six week lead time applies to all orders.
The above lead time also applies to single samples, although we will generally aim to dispatch samples much quicker providing we have the relevant favour boxes in stock.
When ordering you can choose to have your favours delivered to you as soon as they are assembled. We appreciate the cost involved in planning a wedding so Do me a Favour offer the facility to order your favours long before your wedding day but postpone delivery until 2 weeks before the actual event. This helps you to spread the cost associated with your wedding but also assures that the confectionary used is well within its use by date.
We will always do our utmost to facilitate express or late orders. Please contact us by email in the first instance and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please be advised that there may be an extra charge associated with rush orders.
Do me a Favour accept payment by Paypal via our online shop. We can also accept euro cheques or bank drafts made payable to Do me a Favour. (Please be advised that orders will not be processed until cheques/drafts have been cleared by our bank).
For added security your credit card details are never taken or stored on our server. They will be taken securely by PayPal, whose payment process employs standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology to ensure that your online transaction is secure. Your credit card details are encrypted for travel over the Internet, ensuring that it is unreadable by anyone else, which means a higher level of security and peace of mind for customers who would like to order over the internet.
Do me a Favour will under no circumstances accept returns of assembled favour boxes unless they are faulty or delivered to you in error.
Do me a Favour have no minimum order quantity so we encourage customers to order a single sample to be certain of colours, patterns and confectionary before placing a complete order.
Goods returned to us must be in the original container, unused and complete with all decorations and confectionary. We advise customers to inspect favours as soon as you receive them for defects or damage. We must be notified within 3 working days of any items received defective, damaged or if there is a shortfall in the quantity sent. Simply return the damaged goods using An Posts recorded parcel delivery service (we will not issue a refund or replacement for goods that are not received by us) and we will issue a replacement if available or a refund if requested by the customer Where goods are damaged or faulty, the cost of returning the goods will be reimbursed to the customer.
Refunds for purchases made by credit card will be issued as a credit to that same account after inspection of returned products.
Refunds for purchases made by cheque or bank draft will be paid by refund cheque after inspection of returned products.
Errors in Information
We endeavour to provide correct information at all times, however, mistakes may occur and we can only be as good as the information given to us by the manufacturer. Should there be an error, Do me a Favour can take no responsibility for the consequent circumstances beyond rectifying the error.
After you place an order with this website we will send you an automatic e-mail with the details of the order. If you have chosen to receive e-mail newsletters from our site we will use this consent to inform you of special events or offers we may have from time to time. You may choose to not receive e-mails of offers or events at anytime by replying to the enewsletter signup email or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Points to Note
Please be aware that colours of favour boxes, flowers and particularly ribbons vary from batch to batch. Do me a Favour have no control over this. We will do our utmost to ensure that the same shade is used throughout your order.
We accept no responsibility for favours lost, damaged or delayed in transit.
